Introduced Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for better transparency on diverse unit activities.
  • Strategically focused on fewer, but more highly utilized systems and services for better data collection and reporting. Organically increased learning management system usage (“BeachBoard”) by 4% to 402 million interactions per year.
  • Reduced ongoing services cost by 12% over 2 years through renegotiation of agreements and/or deprecation of software while still increasing quality and quantity of services to improve teaching and learning. Overall, various services have a 72-86% satisfaction rate among faculty and students. Working to better track and improve those measures.
  • Successfully introduced new services that support campus initiatives including mobile friendly interfaces, learning glass studio, media support that is captioned and compliant, and 24/7 chat and phone support for students. Media tool was used more after the first month than the previous service was used after a year.
  • Developed and ran a comprehensive, multi-year, strategic design program (AIDI) for over 30 departments involving over 120 faculty. Program allows departments to create and implement plans resulting in a 4.2% increase in courses available online across campus after just the first year. 90% of faculty participants would recommend the program to their colleagues.
  • Pilot projects include the first chatbot, badging for curricular and co-curricular activities, electronic portfolio for students, and data integration between various institutional systems.
